Walk-Up Songs (BallPark DJ)

Make game day special! BallPark DJ lets you assign walk-up songs to each player. When it's their turn at bat, play their song from your phone.

Setting Up Walk-Up Songs

Step 1: Open Walk-Up Songs

From your team's page, tap Walk-Up Songs (or BallPark DJ).

Step 2: Pick a Player

Tap a player's name to assign them a song.

Step 3: Choose a Song

You have two options:

• Browse Music Library — Pick a song from your Apple Music library
• Import a File — Load an MP3, M4A, or WAV file from your phone's files

Step 4: Trim the Clip

Walk-up songs play for 5 to 30 seconds. Use the trimmer to:

• Set the start point (where the good part begins!)
• Set the duration
• Preview the clip
• Hear the fade-out effect

Game Day: Playing Songs

On game day, open Game Day DJ from your team page. You'll see your lineup with each player's assigned song.

1. Tap a player's name when they're up to bat
2. The song plays through your phone's speaker
3. A progress bar shows the remaining time
4. The song fades out automatically

Pro tip: Bluetooth speaker

Connect your phone to a Bluetooth speaker at the field for the full walk-up experience. The app plays songs even when your phone is on silent mode!

Managing Songs

• Change a song — Tap the player and pick a new song
• Remove a song — Swipe left on the player to remove their song
• Songs are saved — Once set, songs stay assigned for the season. No need to re-pick each game.

DRM-protected songs

Some Apple Music songs are DRM-protected and can't be used as walk-up songs. If a song doesn't work, try importing an MP3 file instead.
