Join Your Organization
After creating your account, you need to join your league's organization. Your league administrator will give you an invite code — this is how the app knows which league you belong to and what role you have (parent, coach, etc.).
How to Get an Invite Code
Your league will share the invite code with you in one of these ways:

The code looks something like: FARM-PARENT-2026
Joining with a QR Code
If your league gave you a QR code (on a flyer, email, or sign at the field):
Step 1: Tap "Scan QR Code"
On the Join Organization screen, tap the Scan QR Code button.
Step 2: Allow Camera Access
The first time, your phone will ask permission to use the camera. Tap Allow — this is only used for scanning QR codes.
Step 3: Point Your Camera at the QR Code
Hold your phone steady over the QR code. The app will automatically detect it.

Joining with a Code
If you have the code written down or in a message:
Step 1: Type the Code
On the Join Organization screen, type the invite code in the text field. Capitalization doesn't matter.
Step 2: Tap the Search Button
Tap the green search icon next to the text field. The app will look up your league.

Confirming Your Organization
After scanning or entering a code, you'll see a preview showing:
- Your league's name (e.g., "The Farm League")
- Your role (e.g., "parent" or "coach")

Tap "Join [League Name]"
If everything looks correct, tap the green Join button. You're in!
Joining as a coach AND a parent?
You can have more than one role! If you're a coach who also has a child on a team, ask your league for both a coach code and a parent code. Enter them one at a time to get both roles.
Joining via a Link
If someone sends you a link (by email, text, or social media), simply tap the link. It will:
- Open the G2 Elite app automatically
- Pre-fill the invite code for you
- Show you the league preview — just tap Join
If you don't have the app installed yet, the link will show a page with the code and instructions to download the app first.
What If My Code Doesn't Work?
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| "Invalid invite code" | Double-check the code for typos. Codes are not case-sensitive. |
| "This invite code has expired" | Contact your league administrator for a new code. |
| "This invite code has reached its usage limit" | Contact your league administrator — they may need to generate a new code. |
| "Membership pending approval" | Some roles (like umpire) require admin approval. You'll get a notification when approved. |
You're all set! Once you've joined, you'll see your team's home screen with the schedule, chat, and more.
